For someone that never wore colour I've managed to gain quite a fondness for some of the brightest shades of the season. I think I'm one of those people that will avoid a trend and then one day wake up and feel overcome with the need to give it a whirl. My theory however is to do so slowly and in small doses (due to some tragic experimentation in high school..haha the evidence will never be revealed!). I love the neon orange embellishment on this Magdalena Velevska dress, it's just the right amount of colour for me. Finally the sun has come out in the place where I live. Ironically would believe sunshine is part of the name of the area and this is the first rays we've seen in nearly 2 weeks. Such beautiful weather requires a girl to run out to the nearest beachside area and dance around in radiant glee with the odd hair whip thrown in just for good measure.

Funnily enough I had this leather shirt made in Bali over a year ago but always felt a little bit like a leather recliner chair since the shade of brown is questionable. Lately however it's been getting more than it's well earned debut since I realised it's potential. Fable of the story is never overlook that random item in the back of your wardrobe and dance while the sun is shining.. xx mandy

Hawaii Photo Diary

I'm officially home now, but I thought I'd fill you guys in on all of the adventures, here goes....

The first thing you need to do when you get to Hawaii is crack open a fresh coconut! Here I am drinking a fresh coconut while watching Pipe from the Billabong house.

The beautiful valley at Hanalei Bay on Kauai, one of my favourite places on all of the earth and on the beach here Samdog and I got engaged.

Do you think this is enough surfboards for two people, well guess again this is only half of it. First thing this week..check into the chiropractor after lugging board bags around for nearly a month!

Meet my lover, no not the surfboard although I do have a concerning affection for all of the boards I own. No..the lover I'm referring to is this tiny little lace number by one of my favourite Australian labels "Lover". The strange thing is I don't know whether I shrunk it or if I just grew an extra 5 inches on holidays (which might be the case if you knew how many Ahi burgers that I ate!) OracleFox For Billabong

Ok....so here it is! I'm super excited to share with you guys the beautiful Zippora Seven modelling just some of the pieces from the collaboration that I worked on with Billabong. I know that some of you have already been online to check it out but if you're wanting to see more of our range you can check it out here .

Many of the goodies that we designed were inspired by vintage finds that I've collected over the years, my own artworks or a combination of elements from some favourite pieces in my wardrobe. You can also check out the BillabongGirls homepage..here to see more on our collaboration and further pictures of Zippy working her stuff.

The whole experience has been incredibly surreal and so much fun. It's been a massive project starting almost a year ago with the collection reaching out to be sold internationally to over 50 countries. Mele Kelikimaka! A late merry christmas to everyone! I've been absent over the last few days, spending way to much time adventuring, stumbling across isolated reef laced beaches, surfing crystal clear waters and drinking out of way too many fresh coconuts. We're now on the luscious "garden isle" of Kauai and yesterday Samdog and I took a road trip to the spectacular Waimea Canyon. Never have I seen such magical diversity when one minute you're submerged in Pandora-like rainforest and the next on top of a canyon resembling something out of the midwest. Sadly it was so windy in the canyon you couldn't even take a decent photo making for one sad little 'love sick cowgirl'... xx

Anja Konstantinova is not only one of my favourite Australian models but a babe to work with and recently I was lucky enough to style her in this editorial shot by my talented friend Sybil Steele for Lovecat Magazine. Along with fellow stylist Marissa Sidoti and the rest of our incredible team we had an amazing day in Byron Bay working together and watching Anja do her thang.

Many of the pieces used in the shoot where personal items of Marissa's and mine and it's always surreal seeing your vintage jewels and pieces modelled on one of the coolest ladies around!

ALOHAAA!

HI! H..I that is for Hawaii! Yes indeedy if you haven't been following me on twitter you might not have realised that I've been absent from the blogosphere for the last week because I am in Hawaii! It also seems to be the way that when you're in Hawaii, actually to be more specific on the North Shore..Oahu you have to go by island time and blogging battles with surfing and eating for priority. I've also had this really annoying issue with the fact that I keep taking so many photos every day that I didn't know where to start so this is just a taste tester of what's to come!

I also have to let you guys in on my main reason for coming to Hawaii, a secret that I've been keeping from you all for a looongg time. This week is the launch of a collaboration that I've been working on with in my opinion one of the greatest surf lifestyle labels in the world, an institution that's played a major role in my life growing up as a surfer...non other than Billabong. Woohoo! So I can't wait to share with you guys the 'Oracle Fox for Billabong' capsule collection and the wicked campaign we shot with one of my favourite models around.
