Like A Rolling Stone

Yes it's finally friday afternoon, hoorayy! While I was in Sydney recently it was so nice to get some photos in a different environment to where I live, you know the ones..sun, beach, sand yadah yadah.  I hung out for a few hours with the beautiful Jysla and we found some awesome little side streets, it was so much fun.  Well I hope you guys have all had a great week, I'm looking forward to the weekend...let the sun shine!  xx

On The Run

I don't know how it happened but it happened too quickly, all in a blur.  One minute I was dreaming about it and then before I knew it I saw you looking so lonely and knew that I had to have you. Thank you Chloe for re-releasing the Chloe Susan boots..

The Life Aquatic

You'll be happy to know that today I am wearing a skirt!  I know it's something that most of us wear everyday but for me I can never seem to quite find a skirt that's the right length, shape or cut.  When I recently came across Emma Mulholland's latest collection inspired by aquatic goodness I was in love. Digital prints featuring Great Whites, mesh detailing and shark tooth hemlines I was sold. Bring on the life aquatic baby.. xx

Ae'lkemi

Why hello there and happy Friday!  I've always felt as though fashion and music have an intrinsic connection.  Courtney Love once said.."Rock is all about writing your own script, it's all about pioneering".  The same could be said about fashion or the way that you could perceive personal style.  For me, those who always stand out in the fashion pack are the ones who march to the beat of their own drum, smash the guitar on the main stage and crowd dive into the audience with reckless abandon. So embrace your inner Axel, throw on some heavy metal..music or jewellery and get ready to rock'n'roll baby...xx

Oracle Fox Editorial 'Boneyard Misfits'

"Destined for trouble and a life of misspent youth.  Two misfits on a path together to escape the boneyards of truth.."

I'm so excited to finally be able to share with you an editorial that my friend photographer Nat Lanyon and I conceptualised and created.  Sometimes I wonder whether living in a smaller community seperated from the fashion world is a disadvantage and then I think to myself that in the most refreshing way it can be an advantage in itself.  Nat and I started planning this shoot over two months ago and with lot's of research, creative enthusiasm and armed with a couple of cartons of Crown lager managed to wrangle and bribe an amazing team of people to bring it all together... we hope that you enjoy! xxx Mandy

Pajama Party

So you might've realised by now I think I'm in love with all things pajama-like.  Since we saw hints of good ole grandpa pj stylin' on the catwalks I've been in heaven.  I just can't help it, they're so comfortable and easy to wear, get your pj print pants happening and join the pajama party!

Oracle Fox Ill-LUST-strations

Ahh...since I can barely afford or even track down some of these pieces I thought that the best way to satisfy my cravings was at least to illustrate them..maybe that will keep me satisfied for a while at least..haha..

Low Rider

I don't know what it is but there's something about this shirt that reminds me of the movie Kill Bill. Lately I've noticed the resurgence of shirts like this on the catwalk, some even giving the appearance of the kind of evening wear that one would only wear to bed. Paired with a well cut trouser however this little number can be transformed into the kind of shirt that Uma Thurman would be happy to kick some serious butt in!

Summer Diary

I don't know how this happened but it's obvious after looking through my camera that I have some kind of obsession with pink..sad but true, especially considering that all of my life one colour that I would avoid like the plague was pink.  Well I hope this doesn't mean my tomboy days are over.  Hopefully it's just a faze, but I'm going to enjoy it, along with summer while it lasts .. xx
