The Simple Life

I've been wanting to share with you guys these photos that I took of this little beach house for a while now.  If you follow me on Facebook you might have seen me post one of these pictures from a house we used on a shoot I worked on in France.
I fell in love with this little house that sits in the sand dunes by a beach in Hossegor.  The talented owner travels around and buys houses like this one and does them up.  She collects driftwood and bits and pieces of discarded building scraps to create the furniture and fittings and I thought the result was spectacular..I thought you might too. xx

Wow. This is beautiful. I am still getting over the gorgeousness of your surf shack post. I just adore beachside style, this house feels so dreamy and relaxed. These are very inspirational images and a very talented designer. Thank you for sharing on your fabulous blog. Ps. Im off to France today for some surfing. I'll keep an eye out for this little treasure!

All been said above already, but still. Love your posts of houses/shacks/apps! Looking at the third photo makes me feel so nostalgic, haha - along with the pottery, even the aicha-marmalade is the same as I've eaten down there in Morocco, yum :)

Wow! This is how houses should be made.. to incorporate their environment. This is the real deal. Great pics too. These are going in my inspiration folder.

Wow! I was just writing a post on kilim... should have included those lovely pillows! But I love this entire house so much! I can't wait to be a lady that strolls down beaches collecting rocks and driftwood.
